Terms of Use

Applies to the Bermi's Quest web and iOS alpha.

The alpha

Bermi's Quest is offered as an invite-only alpha for evaluation. It is provided as-is and may change or be interrupted while we improve it.

Accounts

A parent is responsible for their family account and for the child accounts they create, including keeping passphrases secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the app only for your own family.

Tester access

A tester grant provides access only through the end date shown in the invitation and Membership page. It does not renew, does not require a payment method, and never converts into a charge automatically. When it ends or is revoked, the family becomes view-only; signing in, viewing existing content, export, deletion, Membership, and choosing a paid subscription remain available. We do not automatically delete family or child data because tester access ends.

Paid subscriptions

A paid family membership renews monthly until the primary parent cancels it. The price and family size are shown before confirmation. Web subscriptions are billed by Stripe; iOS subscriptions are billed to the App Store account and are managed through Apple. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless the payment provider or applicable law requires otherwise. Losing paid access does not automatically delete family or child data; viewing, export, deletion, and Membership remain available.

Refund requests follow the payment provider's process and applicable law. A family must not maintain simultaneous paid memberships through Stripe and the App Store; the service rejects a second provider while another paid membership is current.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other families' data, disrupt the service, or misuse the app. We may suspend access that risks the safety of children or the service.
